After many years of being widely misunderstood by herpetoculturists, these wonderful medium-sized pythons are finally coming into their own. Red blood pythons are robust, beautiful animals that exhibit a range of reds and oranges seldom seen among other boids. The aggressive reputation of this species established by wild caught imports and nippy babies has begun to fade as more and more keepers discover the joys of working with well started, captive-bred bloods. Blood pythons are the perfect balance of big constrictor personality & manageable size. Our lovely CB babies are available throughout the year, and we wholeheartedly recommend bloods for the intermediate keeper who has successfully kept other species.
