Injured Retic !

1 of my Retics "The Male" likes 2 strike at the glass when U got near his cage. I relize this is a feeding responce. My question is he injured his face like 1 side is smoshed in alittle he got alittle blood on the glass. Will he be ok ? Is this common ? He will keep smashing into the glass over and over again till U remove him from the tank or leave the area.

my answer would be how big is his wound if any as long as you keep a cut clean no risk of an infection. Might want to cover up the glass though so there is a visual barrier so no more repeats

dude i would deff cover the glass with something like newspaper or something like that and he should stop.

Thank U I coverd it last night. He just started doing it recently.

we find that sometimes their lips get caught on their teeth, especially animals that are aggressive or have a very strong feeding response.
