O.k. I know there are calico balls that are genetic and I think the calico retics have proven to a certain extent to be genetic, so what are the chances that a calico boa may be genetic? Any ideas?

This is another animal of mine that is currently on vacation at Kev and Kara's house of snake love! This one has some red/burgundy, black, and white scales running down the back and only time will tell if there is anything to it.

Wow, that is msot Calico Looking Boa I have ever came across. From time to time I have saw "Calico" Boa's pop up, but none that ever looked that Calico. I hope that proves out for sure! :smt023
Ah, yes. Pissy McGee, as I call her. For all her attitude, she'd BETTER be genetic!!!!!

That first one looks so cool, I hope that they do prove out to be genetic, they certainly look good enough.

That first boa looks like it got blasted with battery acid. But, I'd buy it. Hope it proves out.

Those boas are beautiful. Has the first boa looked like that from birth or has it's pattern changed through time?
Are they siblings?
Thanks for the pics.

I got the first boa just about a year ago as an import from Guyana. She certainly has got better looking since she first arrived. She has always been a thick animal but the white got whiter and the pink got hotter and I am pretty happy with the way she looks! Kev and Kara actually have 4 of my guyana redtails including the one in the second pic. They also have a pair of abberant animals with the larger female throwing some mindblowing babies when she arrived from Guyana. Maybe Kara can post a pic or two of her :smt006

Those are some great looking boas. I hope they prove out for you. Are boas the only animals you keep?

If I owned those two I would probably say the same thing.
