i'm no way at all an Eagles fan, but my cousin throws an awesome party every sunday for them til f-ball seasons over. Last week i stopped by, not in the door 2 seconds and my uncle was receiving a lap dance from a drunken newbie to the party. If u cant hold ur drink....., lots of good food, drinks, SHOTS, and if u can sober up and escape in time, you'll miss the Jerry Springer drunken circus. Gotta luv family. Sam says u gotta luv Elektra, so 6 to 12 inches of snow or not, we'll probably grab a movie.C-ya

Sure you can kiddo! Just check with your folks to make sure it's OK. Also, don't forget that we're supposed to have a wicked bad storm this weekend...I don't want y'all out driving around or getting stuck in nasty weather just to come here. ;)
Hopefully we'll see you soon!

Was going to try to get together with Josh, but I have a pretty nasty head cold with some badass coughing. No sense in "sharing the torture".
Gonna watch the Conference Championships and sip a hot toddy or two (or seven or ten ;) ). Inebriate a cold, starve a fever, ya know. ;)
Can't wait 'til Feb. 25th (one day before b-day) as Andrea and I are going to NOLA to see Flogging Molly & Hot Water Music at the House of Blues! See you there.

Just waiting to see what is going to happen as far as the weather goes. We are expecting large amounts of snow here. So i will probably enjoy some sliegh riding and snow tubing with the kids, do some maintenance on the critters, and of course watch some "hopefully" good football games Sunday!

Glued to the TV for about 3-4 hours watching my beloved Steelers! I have been waiting years for a season like this, and am NOT gonna miss it!
Steeler fan since 79, y'all Yankees ain't changing my mind
(I've got a funny feeling I may be outnumbered on this forum, though....)

I was acutally quite annoyed by the massive snowstorm. I had to cut down my plans to work massive amounts of overtime and make $$$. :-({|=
Just checked, and my landlord hasn't plowed my driveway yet...I'm not sure i can get the car out. I hate this "may get 10 inches with snow starting tonight and continuing until late tomorrow".
I loved snow as a kid, and I'm glad I decide not to go skiing today (saving money for vacations this summer) ..I don't think anybody has touched our street yet.
Oh well, I will indulge in geekiness this weekend, and go off to play a tabletop role playing game. And I need to do homework, blah. And all of my snakes are in shed.... *pout*

I was going to rub it in that it's a high of 70 today, but it's going to drop THIRTY DEGREES overnight. Still not cold by Yankee standards, but wow.
Can you guys take lots of pics of the snow and start a "post your snow pix here" thread? I'll try to find some of my pics from Ft. Devens and the blizzards of '93-94.
Stay safe up there,
Tom
Be glad you have snow this year!
We have had barely any snow this year, and its in the 40's during the days :-&
Last year we had a ton of snow, but not this year. The mountains did get a lot of snow this year, but because of the warm weather its been a horrible avalance year (6 deaths so far)
I agree with Tom, take some pics for those of us who have no snow...

Ian, I spent 5 years in OK, where it hardly ever snows. I missed the snow. However, I'd much rather take the blowing snow stuff over the ice storms. The last year I lived in OK, we had some really bad ice storms. I'm sooo glad we really don't get those here. I don't mind brushing off several inches of snow off of the car...when I compare it to trying to chip off an a layer of ice one inch thick off of the windowshield.. In fact, I know several people that cracked windowshields that winter trying to get the ice off.
Basically if it snowed so much that I could get the day off of work, or class, I'd be happy. Big universities hardly ever cancel classes though.

We got 2-3 inches of sleet/ice two days before Christmas here...it started on Wednesday afternoon and continued until Thursday and basically I had to postpone my travel plans and holidays until the following Monday just to be safe! I am from NE Indiana, so I can drive in the snow no problem, but not even I will go out in the ice unless it's an emergency. But, that kind of weather offers some interesting entertainment: What's funnier than a big pickup with 2WD getting stuck? The tiny pickup with 4WD trying to pull it out! LOL Guess they were never told 4WD don't help on the ice!
