Weird hatchling from '04

We had a clutch of 4 eggs from our albino male to a 50% poss het female. After what was quite possibly the longest 56 days of my life I cut the eggs, and no albinos but there was one that appeared to be axanthic. I thought I hit the lottery. After his first shed he turned out to be normal but we kept him anyway. Here's a pic of two of the clutch still in the eggs, the weird one is in the back.

Does anyone know if this is common?

Thats odd....He does look anxactic though! I have heard of anxactic balls being iin a clutch with albino siblings....but its weird that there was no albinos..

Why would it be "weird" that there were no albinos? He bred his albino to a 50% possible het so either he is very unlucky or his possible het is not a het at all.

I have a male ball that had those similar colors before his first shed. He has turned out to be a very beautiful lighter colored ball so if that was a female I would definitely hold her back as she will turn out very well.
