I have always used Glass or ceramic, Plasitc tends to harbor more bacteria.

I use plastic in all my water bowls. For adult STP's I use either Sterilite sweater boxes or blanket boxes. Juveniles get the typical Van Ness Crocks.

On the otherhand,if you changed the water every 2 to 3 days it probably would not matter.
Are you saying you don't change your water every 2-3 days? We've finally found K-Marts secret!!!!! It's gotta be the bacteria in the water!!!
Just joking Kevin!!! :DD :DD :DD

HAHAAHHA... He got ya there Kev! :biggrin2:
I use ceramic.
I use big plastic dog bowls for my subadults +. In-betweenies get ceramic crocks with a 16-oz plastic deli cup so they can't tump the cup over. Babies get lidded 8-oz deli cups from Superior Enterprises. Those lids go a long way in keeping them from making big messes!

Most of my water dishes are some kind of resin compound I think, whatever it is that exoterra uses. I've got one plastic waterdish now (haven't gotten the colubrid a really big water bowl yet...this illness is bogging me down), one heavy ceramic and one glass.
The bp has the ceramic orange bowl that says Simply Dog, and Eat on the inside...hey, it was on sale :P

Mine is about the same as Karas, babies get little plastic pot bottoms, juvies some medium ceramic (whatevers 99c at wal mart), and my biggins got one of those no tip doggie bowls.
