Search everywhere. If you have any idea how long it's been since it escaped, try to close off rooms where you think it may be. Also, you can try luring them out by turning up the cold air. (As long as you have other animals that won't be affected by a brief cold spell.) Cool the place down, and the snake will usually head for the warm spots. It may also help if it is dark, turning off almost all the lights, keeping it quiet in the house and then looking around with a flashlight.

Also, try looking anywhere where it is really warm, like behind the fridge.

I think that its still in my room so I'll close the door off, its really weird as its 2-3ft so youd think that you would notice it moving around.

and thanks for the advice I'll open up the window as were having a noreaster.

i haven't had this problem ;ately so i dont know if my planned solution would work. I was thinking about cooling the place down and then leaving a heatmat out under a box. I was going to leave a few bags that used to hold mice around by there too, just to maybe get the snake over to that area. Would this work? I remember the one time I lost a corn snake i found it in the coldest area of the house under a couch...anyways good luck DID

chances are it'd be in my closet than, as thats where my female mouse is and shes ready to pop so should I take everything out of the closet? except for my mouse and maybe add the geckos cage (with top) so the snake can go there for heat?

look around the permiter of the room and along walls and basically tear apart the room. Also look in side dresser drawers if you have any in the room. My ball got in one from behind it some how while iw as letting her explore. Best of luck findign your snake!

damn thing, I kept it on top of my shelf (never thinking about the possibility of it escaping, and he ended up going into my speaker (my stereo is on the same shelf.) went to turn it up and there he was hanging out of the speaker.

as I checked the speaker over I realised that there is no way in hell to open the damn thing, and since he/she went back inside I cannot think of how to get it out, I ended up putting it in a pillow case and tieing that so it could get out of the speaker and I can catch him/her from there.)
