Her dad caught a Eastern DB down here in Cumberland County NJ. To make a long story short, he took the snake to the Philadelphia Zoo and to date as far as I know, it was the longest living eastern db rattler in captivity. I was told this by the reptile house curator. The whole story is pretty incredible, but its a very long story. I dont want to bore you people.

Dad catches snake, keeps for 6 months or so, Mom hates snake, Dad calls Phila. Zoo, Zoo cant pick it up, Dad, me, and mom get in car with snake in trunk, Dad has accident on the way to Zoo, cops are worried bout snake at acc. scene, cop off duty takes Dad and snake to Zoo. Aunt picks up mom and me. Snake has happy home. 1 week later, Dad brings home gigantic snapping turtle, puts it in 55 gallon drum... mom hates turtle............the rest is history........had to luv my dad! :heart: aaaaaaawwwwweeeeee Look at the cute lil coffee pot :coffeemachine:
