I've heard of them too, and in a couple cases they gain the color back over a few years. Right now no one seems to know what causes it.

Like going from normal to almost black and white in one shed...or some other "weird" color in one or two sheds. I'm getting a reverse trio from the aforementioned "normal to B&W" if the weather ever clears between here and Jersey...if any of the babies change colors when they get older I will be sure to post pics.

ACK!!! That wasn't me...THIS is me! Housemate forgot to log out...grrr....any way, I eagerly await spring so I can get thse babies from the color-change BP. Mods: Is it okay to list a link from another breeder's site in this instance? That individual has a write up on his color-changer.

Some times my BP's when they shed will be almost like high gold...then next shed will be dark brown.

If you right click on the red "x" then you click properties, then copy the URL and paste it into the address bar and you can see them.

Those are some pretty BP's!
