Babies are here! Quick question..

So my entire clutch of BPs have pipped and 5 out of 6 are out of the eggs. Pictures to come shortly!

One question, #5 still has its umbilical attached. Should I be concerned or leave it alone?

Congrats on the clutch! Leave it alone... it will come off on its own when it is ready.

You may want to set them up in a tiny (we're talking a puddle) bit of water, just to keep that umbilical from drying out. You *could* also do the wet paper towel substrate, but there's the possibility (however slight) of a baby crawling under the towel & suffocating.
