This is our little white phase male paradox albino retic. This was from a Tiger het albino to an albino female. I remember it like it was yesterday. Me and Kevin were going through eggs when they were hatching and he handed my this little guy and told me to "wash him off hes got shit all over him"

Here he was after a shed or two.

Im hoping its like the paradox sand boas, seems more similar to those then the paradox balls or burms.

But who knows, I just know he will be a badass 15 ft. snake.

Andy,

Something occurred to me laast night and I had something nagging in my friggin mind and at 2:30am last night I remembered I remeber talking to Brian Sharp who had just bought a bunch of tiger, supers and albinos off a friend from Cali. I was only looking for some tiger females but, I remeber saying he did have a paradox he thought of some sort with black around the tail. He even offered it to me. I said Ill get back to you. I called up the next day and he said he sold to a kid who helps him out. This was atleast two years ago so if it is true then there must be a descent size paradox tic out there.

I was wondering is that little albino retic a paradox or could it possabley be an albino calico? Just a thought

I kind of wondered the same thing, because the black has some to gotten more intense and splotched, but it goes against everything we know about the calicos. He should have came out normal and developed the color as he aged if he were a calico.

Only time will tell and hopefully we can do something with him and make some more cool babies

From what I know, "paradox" is another "leopard burm"... It can only happen from a hetXhomo breeding... It's like a genetic anomaly due to one of the parents being a het, the babies are in fact homozygous, just something fucked up... "Paradox" seems to have changes not unlike the calicos...

I base these statement on a few things.....

I have a leucistic rat project I'm working on (laugh if you want.. I like white things with black eyes!)... When I got the original female that started it all, she was born from a normal looking mother (het), we were unaware of the father's (homo?) lineage or looks... She was born entirely white with black eyes, after she weaned she started developing black patches on her skin (not fur), they got more intense and a few more spots developed... I assume this is a "paradox" like trait... She's pregnant with her first set of hets right now... I will have to wait and see what happens...

Also, I did A LOT of research when I was getting a bit obsessed with the "brindle paradox albino burms", I found that they won't produce offspring like themselves, you get Albinos from them, it doesn't really seem to increase the odds of getting one by having one as one of the parents... I don't know if they've done a brindleXbrindle, but I am almost certain nothing would change and it would be proven to be an anomaly... All of the "paradox" albino burms and "leopard" burms (that I'm aware of) have been from a hetXhomo breeding...

Umm, I think Black eyed white rats are line bred...

http://www.afrma.org/pewrats.htm

breeding for less and less color is how Black-Eyed White rats are created, and it is possible to make Odd-Eyed White rats in this same fashion.
