the localty of redtails some of my big females are very dark and some are high in carmel looking color

It is sometimes hard to really tell locale by appearence alone with out knowing where the boas or their parents were actually collected. This is compounded by where the snakes are actually collected from vs where they were exported from. Also snakes do not adhere to national boundarys. Bill.
