Feeding Day

ok how smart are these snakes really. I have had my retic on a sunday feeding schedule since I picked her up 4 weeks ago and it is if she knows when sunday comes around. Lasy sunday was the firt time she has ever shown agression she struck once as I entered her cage for spot cleaning. Today she strikes once again and is agitated that I had no rat this morning for her yet. She is find all other days of the week and I am pretty sure she aint starving by eating a med rat every sunday and she is only about 4 foot long. None of my other animals aside for the breaderd dragon knows when feeding time is. Do any of your snakes present this type of behavior?

retics definetly cahnge the rules when it comes to husbandry. if you put them on a set schedule i myself believe they realize when they are eating.

my male retic is always ready to eat one time i had some rats and pigs out and he got out and started eating them
