Ok.

SO i woke up this morning checking out the reptiles..ya no.. seeing how there doing..turning lights on.. and i notice that my yellow monitor is still sleeping! i was amazed to see such a active alive creature asleep and not moving. So i thought hey hes just sleeping so then i went did the forums for a while..etc. and then i was chatting on IM with OMAR (hardcore herps) and i mentioned to him that he has been sleeping all day from 10:ooam-3:30pm so omar told me to check temps.. i did so. they were normal temps 126 hot spot 87 cooler side. so then i said i am gunna soak him to be safe. oh and before that i showed omar pix and we agreed on he was extremly dehydrated. yeah so i filled the sterlite up with warm water. up to the yellows leg hight and got ready to put him into the sterlite. i go over to his CRAPY SHOWCASE CAGE (just thought i would add how i think of the cages) and picked him up with no struggle at all! the poor thing was dehydrated like crazy no strength to tail whip me or bite me or even lift his little head up. So i began soaking him and omar told me exactly what to do and i did it. and no he is SOO MUCH better then before. the point of this story is.. LISTEN TO HARDCORE-HERPS he knows what he is talking about. he helped me with my monitor so if u ask for help and he replies. dont question it he is telling off of expierience. just putting a good word in for him and thought i would share a good-turn-out-to-be story.

ok i came into my room this morning..and he was dead. i did everything.. EVERYTHING to rehydrate him.. i was helping him drink with a syringe.. but i guesss it was too late. i no it was because of dehydration and not burns.. or anything else. but what i cant find out it why he died?? i thought i was doing everything fine.. soaked him twice. helped him drink throughout the hours.. let him sleep in a sterlite with damp paper towles.. a heat pad and a red heat light...i wont be posting for a while in due that i have to figure out what went wrong..thanks
