I got these two pics in an email. Supposedly this rock got stuck under an electric fence, and as you can see, is not too happy about the situation

Yeah, I don't know how easy it would have been to help it! I guess cut the wires and run?!

Oh my goodness! I wouldn't know what to think if I saw that poor guy/girl stuck like that.

Honestly, I really hope he was saved. It wasn't mentioned anywhere.

Yeah, it does look like he just had a little taste of something. I hope some brave soul(s) got there in time.

From what it looks like the snake probably broke into some fenced in livestock for a quick bite to eat and was trying to get out and got stuck in the fence. Hopefully they cut him free and didn't kill him but I doubt that was the case...

That just looks like it would hurt like hell if it got its teeth in you.

I think I would still have to try and help it.

It would be nice to know how it ended up. In any case, I don't believe that is an electric fence. The lines are not insulated from the posts.

Oh, the snake died of electrocution. He had his tail wrapped around an electric part of the fence. Theres more pics of that series including one where they cut him open to find a freshly eaten gazelle

The reason the part he bit isnt insulated is that the livestock in there might get hurt

How big was he? He looks like a good twenty. To bad about his untimely death though.

yeah, poor snakey....*tear*...but man those are some teeth. i've seen the pics of him cut open with the impala before. crazy!
