the oven technique for branches and such can someone please tell me how long and how hot..

200-225 for an hour. Make sure you keep an eye on things, don't want to start any fires.

If you have access to an autoclave, that's best. One thing you can do to help prevent a fire is to soak the branches in a 10-20% (by volume) bleach solution overnight prior to baking. This will aid in sterilization as well as remove some tannins and unwanted organics.
