View Full Version : What's your dream snake?
It doesn't even have to be one in existence (color morphs, etc) at the moment...
What would absolutely get it done for you, snake wise?
I'm dreaming of Ivory bloods, and a full body chrome striped, otherwise patternless, jet black chrome headed black blood. SWOOOOOOON!
And an Arizona ridgenosed rattlesnake (C. willardi willardi)

Specs Rule!
full body chrome striped, otherwise patternless, jet black chrome headed black blood.
That sounds a lot like Neal's dream blood -- he wants a black one with silver pinstripes.
My dream blood is the one produced by VPI that's the homozygous form of the co-dom tri-stripe morph . . . Just a brilliant red blood with a big, thick yellow stripe... Of course I'd take a tri-stripe, too; you know, if the opportunity arose. ;)

Since I've got a pretty small collection and have never bred my own, so right now making my own pied, albino, and/or super pastel would all qualify for my dream snakes.
Next year I'll have all the ingredients to make each of these so we'll see if my dream comes true or not...

Yep, a retic would do it for me. A tiger retic, or one of those lavender albinos. Now, if I wanted to get really crazy I'd say some kind of crazy patterned/colored bloods and some cobras
:sleepy: Back to dreaming!

More green anaconda morphs...WE NEED more people working on anaconda morphs and selective breeding...They deserve attention because their habits are so different from most of the currently popular boas or pythons...Plus, they have incredible growth potential, are a challenging pet and new morphs (ie: axanthic) have just recently started popping up...I certainly won't be of any help to the cause in the next few years but I want to see more anaconda morphs (and more breeders/hobbyists working w/ them in general!)... :icon_cla: ...
Vipergecko, I hear they have an albino carpet in Germany... Haven't seen a pic, though.

I'm not too familiar with all the morphs. I am sure there are some amazing ones, but if I could have one snake right now I would want an albino blood or a bright red one. I think all bloods are gorgeous, but those really really red ones are just amazing.

LOL Matt...... put a mississippi mudflap on yeller.......
dream snakes...... well, Morelia carinata is the TOP of the list, boelen's are great.
timber rattlers are incredible, i would trade my current collection for a chance to keep and breed timbers legally, until then, i guess walking around the woods and hoping to see one will have to do.
i'm not big on morphs, so any of the above would be fine for me.
the timbers would have to be solid jet black though 8)

Retics were one of my dream snakes and I have 1.1
