New acrylic cage almost complete

Well, it's taken quite some time and I managed to sneak a vacation there in the middle of the build too, but it's finally bout done.

Perches and in working order. the perches still need to get finished tomorrow and all will get cleaned and the snake should be in there by Saturday.

Let me know what you think. I definitely know why they want so much for these cages. This was not a fast or easy task by any means.

Very nice! Did you use the chemicals to weld the acrylic together or did you use silicone?

Great looking cage! you did a wonderful job you could sell those. Your snake is going to love it by the way.

I used Weld-On #4 so it's chemically welded.

Well, I had a few mishaps that you can see in some of the seams if you scrutinize the photos where there is a lil discoloration (whitening) of the surrounding seam areas, but besides that it's pretty easy once you get the hang of the needle. I used syringes to get the water-thin cement into the seam gaps before clamping them tight with a framing clamp. Capillary action pulls the cement into the gaps of the seam and usually allows for a very nice, crystal clear joint without bubbles.
