Valentines Dinner

I Know it's still a few weeks away but i need some suggestions for my "suprise" dinner. Here's what i got so far. My wife loves fish, Salmon to be specific. I'm going to be making slow grilled Salmon steaks w/lemon butter and basil sauce. I'm thinking about fresh steamed or grilled(can't decide) veggies for a side. Broccoli, snow peas, and baby carrots. Here's my biggest dilema... Wine. My wife and i recently discovered that we're old enough now to appreciate wine(we've "appreciated" it alot lately actually :smt030)

Now i know that some of you peeps(Kara!) are wine aficionados. So can you give a helpless romantic the heads up on a good wine?

Hmmm...it's hard to beat a nice Riesling for salmon. A couple I'd recommend:

Chateau Ste Michelle Riesling, 2003

Schmitt Söhne Riesling (Qualitatswein Riesling - you can find this very easily) 2000

Both are good!
