the burm population in the Everglades has been a problem for a number of years. National Geographic has been studying this issue for a while and scientists have determined that not only are there big released burms causing havoc on the smale mammal and especially bird populations there, but there is actually a population of reproducing burms being born in the wild because the population densities have become great enough!!! BIG PROBLEM!!! Don't let your snake free in a warm, humid habitat (well, anywhere, obviously) when it gets too big!!!

Good story for any beginners who think a burm is good to grow with. Make a mistake and this is what your dealing with. This is exactly why two or more people are to be present when dealing with any snake over 8 feet.If it could take a 6 foot wild alligator on his home turf a lone careless keeper is a piece of cake.

maybe they should send more albinos in so that way when they are born they get picked off by hawks , owls and other smaller predators. lol
