that loves this species right? lol!

How many of you out there have a fondness for this adorable species? I'm trying to get all three locales in my collection (currently I have the ever so common Timors and FINALLY some Rotis!).
I do believe after lusting to get my hands on these for the past two years, if someone told me they breed true Semau locales, I'd faint from happiness. javascript:emoticon(':smt007')

Mr. Lialis himself, Chris Carmichael has all of the above but I've been waiting forever and a half to hear news of Semau babies from his collection. LOL! I'll wait as long as I have to I suppose. hehe

So, I'm just wondering how many others out there actually like this species. IMHO, what's not to like? A dark bodied, gold-flecked, HIGHLY irridescent, silver-eyed, smart python.....*drool* They are just beautiful, amazing animals to me. They'll always be in my collection. ;)

Hi. I just caught this thread. I have a young male about three foot or so. Very nice disposition and a ferocious eater. He is very beautiful as well. The iridesence is remarkable. I will try and post a picture here soon. :smt023

YES!!! I absolutely love macklots!! I worked with a pair of them, (see above photo) at a reptile zoo for three summers. They were the curators personal pets, and absolute dolls. Active, alert, perfect size, and never unpredictable. What more can you ask for???

I bought a baby Macklotts from NERD in 1998 and he tamed right down and has never attempted to bite. Great Eater, I have used him for shows and never a problem. I'm really surprised all Liasis aren't more popular.

I know. I really don't see why more people haven't clued in yet and added some to their collection. Lialis are amazing, smart and beautiful (as if I can't say that enough. lol!)
Always a winner in my eyes. ;D
