Party Taco Dip
1 lb. Hamburger
1 onion
1 green pepper
1 tomato
1 package taco seasoning mix
8 oz. sour cream
8 oz. Mexican Velveta
Chop (dice) onion, pepper and tomato.
In a wok shaped non-stick skillet, brown hamburger and onion.
Remove from heat and drain. Return to skillet.
Add tomato and pepper to liking.
Add Taco mix. Stir
Return to medium heat.
Cube Velveta.
Stir in sour cream and velveta.
KEEP STIRRING UNTIL CHEESE IS MELTED.
(otherwise you’ll scorch it)
Serve with tortilla chips.
Notes*
I usually dbl or triple this because everybody devours it. Get some of those little Styrofoam bowls (2 per person, 1 for chips, 1 for dip) and plenty of napkins.
If you make a dbl or triple batch for a party, you can make it the day before.
Then a couple/few hours before the party, just put it in a crock pot. ;)
