Well, I've just annoyed the group of local friends I have here.

I've quit the role playing game they were running.

I just can't manage that, taking one college class over, which is really hard, and working full time, plus taking care of my...well pets, I guess

It's a hobby and I enjoy it. I had to cut back on something, and the hobby is relaxing. Gaming hasn't been that fun for me, sometimes it creates more stress than it's worth. And in some ways, I wonder why I'm friends with them at all. Btw, I'm sick, so I'm kinda feeling down right now.

So we're all nuts..keeping these "large and dangerous animals :smt019 ", and the sheer number of them we keep as well...

So, what would be the last thing in your collection that they're have to "pry off your cold dead hands"?

Right now, I'd have to say it's my first snake.

Right now, I'd have to say it's my first snake. You weren't playing Everquest by any chance. Sam totally used to get into that rpg! Way to time consuming.

I do have to admit, it was the best game ever made so far IMO. But I am partial to an MMORPG then any other type.

I still am a hardcore gamer, but now I play as a way of relaxing instead of it feeling like a commitment.

Nah, this was "OLD SKOOL" RPG's, sitting around a table with character sheets and dice.

Overall, I got sick of gaming taking up massive amounts of my weekend time, and in trying to plan the large group events, (6 or 7 people), it was just impossible to really get the group going.

PlanetSide rox! I was in beta and loved the game, but I was still so in EQ at the time, that I had to stick with EQ. But planetside is a hell of game. If you like planetside, you would love Unreal XMP! I think it maybe the best FPS ever.

No, I've got some sort of weird funky sinus blockage cold thing. It's been nasty. I called into work sick yesterday. I hate using sick days this early in the year, since I only get 2.

I've been kinda stressed out this week, so I've been bouncing up and down a little emotionally, and being sick just bummed me out a bit.
