We need RETIC lovers!!!!

Breeding is going well...well, almost well, never as good as we could hope but we are getting some gravid girls. Some nice albinos bred to tiger het albinos, albino to albino( I think), Het calico to super. Hopefully our big mushy het anthrax(anerythristic thingie) is gravid to Anthrax. SHe was full of follicles and then she is giant. Hopefully I missed ovulation. I tagged her as gravid but I still have my doubts. Andy wants her not gravid just so I feel like a fool. THat is what stinks when you have all these snakes...if you make a mistake the NERDETTES tighten the thumb screws and poke you ....." you were wrong Kevin, you thought it was gravid......you need to go back to HERP school" They love these moments...A big giant calico female is gravid to what we do not know....She was with multiple co dom males so we shall see if there are tigers or SOMETHING else... some other stuff I can not remember. Bateater stuff looks good.....maybe we will see some jungle retics and some tiger cross stuff....


Andy set the mark at 30 gravid females for the season..... We are possibly up to 11 gravid girls this far...I think this is a direct reflection on Andy's inablitiy to breed retics!!!!! HAAAAAAA......!!!!! He of course blames me.......

In all reality, they are breeding, it takes time and we have little patience this time of the year. We are constantly poking them and hoping....

btw for the egg count competition you can use any ball pythons that you may happen to have in your house(aka the place that you sleep) for your final total, and I will do the same with any retics that I may happen to have in my place of residency that produce eggs....

Its all about effortless effort. Moving without giving the impression of moving. Did you see that move. Did you take it all in. I barely flinched and teeth were avoided. Padraig we hatched Jampeas in 2004. Not going to have any pureblood dwarfs this year most likely. We do have some weirdo dwarfs that we hope to get some babies from, but our weird yellow striped jampea thing has a nack for reabsorbing follicles(and has quickly become the bain of my retic breeding existence, Im sure she Kev doesnt feel to highly of her at this point and time either.) But we will try to cycle her off season and give her another shot.

Just so you know Andy is on a road trip for a few days and is not ignoring people..he will be back to post his dribble!!

Moving snakes.....more importantly RETICS is a gret way to throw them off.... I am sure it had its effects on our breeding. They are so weird about new cages or being messed with. We have a few girls that may need some kind of sacrifice to make go. We are hoping the female hyo thing we have goes, she is GORGEOUS and a friggen monster!!!

Just so people know we got a kid BW that comes here to play and work the retics..... he is good with the big snakes(20')!! I mean has really got the hang of it. He is basically a mini Andy but way more gifted and talented than our "Yorgi". Nice to see the occasional natural with the animals.

Yorgi go now, Yorgi walk, Yorgi come, yorgi sit....

Some of the delightful little tricks our Andy has learned to perform with only a bit of difficulty!

If only Andy(Yorgi) was hear to defend himself.....

Kevin, I mentioned the move only because I went through the same thing only not to that degree back when I was keeping my retics I moved a female from the 6'x28" vision to the 6 x 36" and she had just developed follicles end result reabsorbtion............

the same happened when I experimented with a substrate I went from Newspaper to Cypress Mulch end result a really pissy normal gentle and non fussy eater turing into a grand pain out of no where.......... soon back to newspaper and a happier 13' pain

It just seems to me in the 3 years(and hpefully more if Mass would just give a brother a break more) I kept retics they were totally aware of routines and their surroundings more so then my burmese who could of given a rats behind about changes as long as she had her rabbits, I just wonder if a move of your scale will take a little longer because of the degree of that big move.
