Handling A Tegu

I just got a B&W Arg. Tegu, and when she came out i wanted to hold her. The only problem though is that she kept trying to squirm out of my hands to go back in her tank. Is their a way i can tame her down??

Give her time. Patient handling is the key- just keep letting her walk from hand to hand (if she's small enough) and let her get used to you. If you just got her, let her settle in for a few days before handling, as she'll be stressed and nervous from the move.
