Today I am going to cook a meat I have never eaten before, Ostrich. Will let you know how it turns out. :smt023

I wasn't a big fan of Ostrich. Its OK, but not something I would order often.
If you can get your hands on buffallo out there, try some of that. It tastes great.

Very lucky!
I live by one of the largest herds still left in the "wild" but its a pain to get meat anymore. If I could get it more often, I wouldn't eat anything but buffalo. Much healthier, and I prefer the taste...

The Ostrich was excellant I grilled it with ahint of my special cajun barbacue sauce. The fillet had no fat at all on it and tasted just like a good steak. Next its Ostrich burgers. I have had buffalo before it is good and in the stores along with buffalo hotdogs. Has anyone had the hot dogs? :smt017

Ostrich is awesome. I haven't tried buffalo yet though, even though several places raise them out here. Then again, I'm not the best cook...but if you want to talk about homebrewing...we'll chit chat :smt077
