I have a couple of black roughneck monitor questions

1. is there anyway to accurately sex a roughneck???

2. What gets bigger males or females???

any help would be great THANKS

1. An accurate way to sex a monitor is when they are mature, you can generally tell by the head size and all that other stuff.

2. Males get bigger

I'm pretty sure Black Roughnecks can be sexed with my method of sexing. Look for a line that starts at the vent and runs the length of the tail, if the line runs the length of the tail it is a female. If the line stops after an inch or two it is a male. It's very hard to accurately do it, you need to have the monitor calm and have a good eye.
