Hey,
I was just curious if anyone had a set of photos showing how a single animal changed color over time. My first blood is a little female from a stunningly red male and a yellow female, and I'm dying to know if she's gonna grow up to be a mommas girl or a daddy's girl. If you have photos showing how the colors changed, please post them for me... Thanks!!

Hey, Here are my 2 cents, for whats it's worth. I have asked myself, and others, this same question, and I think you're just going to have to wait and see, just like me.I have heard from a reliable source, that 2 red parents will throw both red and yellow animals. I have also been told that,"my red pair has babies that consistently turn red". It may depend on where the parents genes derived from(grandparents), I have a male that I hatched out in 03, from orange/ red parents, that I'm still waiting on, I am going to hold on to a handful of my 04's,that are from really nice red parents, to see what happens. You might check out,www.gregcooper.net. This site shows his pair of bloods, and according to his pics/descriptions, they didn't turn red untill they were around 2 years old. There is a pic from a while back, posted by Scubaqueen on the Kingsnake blood fourm, that appears to be in the stages of,turning red. You might want to look for that. A few of my 04's, are coloring up nicely, since hatching in July, but nothing drastic. I will post some updated pics soon. Hope I helped you out, and I hope your female turns into a STOP sign. Kevin

You're probably right, and since I'm keeping her forever anyway, I suppose I can wait...
