Incubators

Please, i dont know if its the right forum, But anyways.

I want to build a nice incubator, i just pretend a single clutch, so one incubator is the thing i need. I have readabout hovobators, but seems too complicated to build.

Can i have some advice on that?

feel free to mail me with instructions on how to build the incubator, the medium i got it understood.

or just post a webpage with the instructions.

do you live anywhere near a feed store like where they sell
farm stuff cuz a hovobator only runs about 50 usd its going to be a pain to bulid.

but all it is, is a foum cooler that regulates heat (regulating the heat is the hard part.
you might be better off buying one but like i said dont go to reptile place check out a farm stor or web site

erm , in your personal opinion... whats is the best thing to useas an incubator, anything counts (fridge, hobovator, coleman with rubbermaid inside, coleman with helix..... you tell me)

I use a dorm fridge with a big apple herp proportional thermostat and have had ZERO problems with it. If it holds humidity and a steady temp, it should work just fine.

how much dollars it costed to you?

Fridge was $50 or so, used....I live in a college town so it was easy to find..............heat tape $15, 'stat $99 or so...I think....been a few years since I bought it......8 6qt tubs, $8.........so about $175 or so......not too bad considering "commercial incubators" are about $400
