lookin' good kevin, the snake, not you :).
that little female i got is very fiesty, she has nailed me twice now, out of nowhere. I will say that these animals are extremely fast for their short pudgy bodies.

HeyJason, Don't let that scare you, keep handling her, or you are going to be in trouble when she gets bigger.Try making sure her head is covered up before you reach in the box. Is she biting while still in her box, or out? I think some of my bloods might be inclined to bite if I was trying to position them to pick them up first, that is why I always just reach in and grab them. I do the same with the adults. Remember, you are entering their space when you reach in to get them, so be smooth and deliberate.

That is a very sharp looking snake. Makes me wish I made room for more short-tails....

kevin,
she bit me in her box and while i was handling her. its like she has some very touchy spots on her body and she'll whip around and go after me.
i can't belive how fast she is.....it reminds of that movie anaconda.
the little male is pretty easy going.
