I went to Pet smart today and got some hides I want to use in the BP cages I figured since they are plastic should be easy to clean. Any suggestions? http://www.petsmart.com/global/product_detail.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=84552444177 7013&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=2534374302026347&ASSORT MENT%3C%3East_id=2534374302023695&bmUID=1108444472 710

I also posted this in the caging forum before here.

Make sure that they are just slightly larger than your BP coiled up. BP's like being able to feel the hide on all sides of their body.

I think they would work ok, although I would prefer a hide that is not translucent. The hide spot should be dark.

I just use plastic flower pot bases from Home Depot. You can get them from any size from ones that work for babies to some that work for my biggest females. And I can pick up about 5 of them for the price of one of those petco hides.
