well, if I ever get into the lizard species. this would be the guy. NERD has the best behaved lil black throat monitor I've ever seen. I'm seriously considering him....I have the perfect spot for him too...I could look up all the info on the internet about them, but what fun would that be?
How big do they get? He seemed very well tempermant wise, do they get aggressive with size? just some thoughts....

Blackthroats are awsome. They had a very tame 4-5 footer at the Raleigh NC show about two years ago. It was so hard not to bring him home.

I highly recommend Black Throats. I LOVE mine. They are the most "workable" of the large Varanids by far.

These are our adult pair of beasts. Other than the males desire to Hiss and whip me for the first 10min or so of handling, they are very sweet. I've been waiting for them to finish shedding so I could post some good pics, but in the mean time...
