Here are my two girls together. I will be taking them over to a Ryan's house on thursday for breeding loan! I couldn't find an adult male for myself but atleast I'll still get to see some little ones this season (hopefully).

The light colored female has freshly shed everything but her tail. The other female has lots of mulch dust on her and needs a good shed.

Thanks everyone for the comments. After keeping monitors, beardies and so on I decided I wanted something that gets a pretty good size that was very docile. I don't like savs to much (I like the indo look in montiors - sleak and long). I always thought tegus were wanna-be monitors. Well I bought my first one and I've been hooked ever since! LOL....Well I'm housing them in 54" visions so mulch is bound to be on the carpet! I have 6 bags of mulch at any given time in my closet. My room smells like mulch, which is 10X better then reptile poo! Blue Tegus have become my favorite lizard! On another note, the darker female is supposedly a platinum. I won't know for sure untill I breed her out. No one has proven platinums to even be genetic (no one has bred them back). This is one reason why the snows aren't even proven yet. If the snows prove out I'll have a trio the minute they do! Then I'll try and get my hands on some platinums (I want to keep/breed all 4 (normals, albino, platinum, and snow) but we'll have to wait and see if the last 2 prove out. This is my personal project and it's my most exciting!
