They are great for certain people but are the cause of TONS of rescues! They do have albino iggs...they sell for $3500-5k. I may end up getting one just to have it around :-)

Yeah I've seen amel. iggies, but I like the green/blue/orange mix over the plain white. The amel.'s are impressive though. And as for rescues you are right. In my opinion greens should sell for alot more money than they do. Someone that will spend alot of money will think about it before someone buying one for $19 as they are selling for around here. Same thing with burms. There is a pet store near my mother's house that sells burms for about $75 for normals and like $100 for albinos. Animals like this get too big for alot of people, I just think that if people had to invest more money then maybe they would think twice about getting them. Burms and Iguanas are an introduced species in Florida because of this issue. Sorry for the long post, I'm a little passionate about the issue.

I used to have 2 back in high school, which I had to find homes for when I went to college. I LOVED them when I had them, but now that I'm iggyless, I'll never get another one. So big, and so much work. And even when you do everything right, they can still get sick.
