actually you made me curious, where do you got it from actually?
a grandmother has to pay cocacola company so she can keep one of those in her restaurant

are fans necessary to have in an incubator??? im asking cuz i dont have any in mine.... i made mine from an old fridge. i wanna know so that when i do get eggs i get it right the first time. and out of curiosity how hard is incubation really.... im just really freaked out about it!

you need the fan to push the heat and humity around so that the whole bator is one temp without it the top will be warmer than the bottom you need to hook it up to your thermostat so it turns on with the heat

as for incubation just watch your temps and humity and cross your fingers

and no i did not steal it someone had it in the trash

the fan runs on the thermostat? if it gets too hot on the bottom you blow air?

no glima... heat rises. the fan is there to blow the air around so that it all doesnt get stuck at the top (just learned).
where do you get ur fans from gary?

from an old computer or radio shack sells them

as for glima his not here to learn but to cause trouble!! so try to learn somthing as most of us come here to do!!!

i know heat rises, thats the concept of hot air balloons.

but thats why i was wondering why fan was in bottom, i thought it would be more effective pointing downwards from the top, but i think its pretty much the same as long as air goes round and round the fridge
