I've been looking at the BCC types over at Rio Bravo reptiles for a while now. I really like the Venezuela and Brazil BCCs.

Generally speaking, how much different is the temperament when compared to BCIs?

Thanks in advance!

B.C.C's can be punchy and skittish unlike B.C.I.'s who are known to be alot hardier and tamer. However, with frequent gentle handling B.C.C. can tame down just like any other snake.I own 3 wild caught B.C.C. and are puppy dog tame and never tried to bite.If you pick em up from Gus at RIO BRAVO you should be O.K.Good luck.

Just like any snake if you handle it frequently unless he just a general pissy snake

Not to beat a dead horse, but it does depend on how often you handle it. I've never had a problem with BCC temperment. They seem to tame just as nicely as BCI. However, I think they are a bit more advanced to keep. They are much more sensitive to temperature and humidity, all sorts of things really, but that is just my experience. I think you'll be okay. Gus' animals are all gorgeous...every time I see one my jaw drops and out comes the drool. lol :) Good luck!
