Are there any lizards that feed as infrequently as snakes? Seems like lizards are eating machines when compared to Boids. Can you think of any?

During the winter you don't feed tegus :-). You get a nice break for a couple of months! As adults you can feed them every few days as well. I feed every other personally.

I have a Male Leopard that that just started eating again.... after not eating for almost a year!! and everyone was trying to tell me that he was eating, i just didnt notice, but i tell you... i would put in mealworms, and then count the same mealworms 2 days later... i would take them out, put in fresh ones, and sure enough, he wouldnt eat them.... eventually, it came to the point that i would do it intermittently... well, he started eating last week.... ate like 10 at a go, took a day off, and pounded down another 8 like that. Very strange... I guess he didnt like the new house i moved into, and decided to go onto a hunger strike.. But atleast he is eating again. The part i really dont understand is his tail is still nice and fat....
