Hey, neato, I love mojaves. really nice looking little balls ya got there! your incubator is really nifty, too....what inspired you to do that cut-out pattern on it?

Beautiful mojave. Remember that males breeding at 400-500 grams is more of the exception, rather than the rule. He will be in great shape for next season or possibly later this season.

Thanks both of you. The door design was a last minute thing. I plan to just wait on breeding the mojave till next season. I got a little tinkering project going on. I am breeding a VPI het axanthic to some normal girls to get some poss hets. I also have a het albino male with a freinds het albino female and 3 normals. One of the normals and the het female has ovulated. Just waiting on the prelay shed.

Love them all, especially that pastel and mojave, best of luck with them in upcoming breedings, and that incubator looks so cool.

The incubator is basically a wooden box. Then I lined it with 1/2 inch foam on every side and even the doors. I then put a couple of windows on it. I used wire shelving from Lowes to make the shelves. I am going to heat it with 6 ft of 11 inch heat tape. It will be hooked to my herpstat thermostat. I have not had any heat in it yet, so I do not know how well it will hold temps. Maybe it will work.

hmm so a 750 gram male can breed?..also what is the average (minimum) weight youve seen a female pregnant at?..this is a question for any one that knows about balls...Thanks...Connor
