I have had little box turtles in the past, and I want to get into bigger tortoises, what would be a good one to go with? I like the Sulcatas, and the Leopard's. But if a different species would be better to go with, then I am open to suggestions. Also any info that I should know is appreciated. And where would a good place to get one be?

No, OK, I guess I will just get a sulcata and hope for the best.

I'm not too concerned about the digging, Or the size. But is there any other reason to go with a different type? like level of skill to take care of one?

If you can talk to people around you that are into reptile, I'm sure they can help recommend something. Every area is ideal for certain species climate-wise so I couldn't say offhand that anything would be ok for you since I've never been in that neck of the wood.

A Red-foot is hardy, and gets as big as a football. Not too big to handle and not too small to get lost in the yard. I have one..I love him..his name is Samwise Mcgee. :)
