Has anyone heard them? Or seen them live? It sounds like they put on a crazy show.

Yeah, I'm not too big on the classification. I think it's just to scare off the sissys. It's where I found out about Queens of the Stone Age long before any of my friends. (Then they found out about my little secret. stonnerrock.com) If you dig Black Sabbath there are a bunch of really cool bands on there that are influenced by them. Dixie Which, Fu Manchu, ect... Then you got your Heavier stuff on there too like Yeti, Mastodon, ect... I'm not wanting to sound like thier sales rep. but they are pretty cool.

LOL, yeah well you are definetly in the right pit for metal. Nowadays my ears bleed for something else- listening to AFI, YEAHYEAHYEAHS, Morissey, Jem- a little emo, i guess. Or rather my ears arent bleeding anymore. I did throw on Queensryche the other night followed by Toad the Wet Sprocket, so whatever suits you at the moment!!!!!

LOL I did kind of the same thing today! I started it off with a little Rancid- Indestructable, and finished her off with Cake- Prolonging the Magic.
Watching my two year old dance to two different kinds of music is funny!

Yeah, most 2 yr. olds like to have their CAKE and eat it too! Is that Cakes 1st. album? Cant remember. Jeez, I do remember when they 1st. came around. I think I listened to them and Meat Puppets, Primus, Greenday, Oggspring. They all hit about the same time. Where is Offspring. Gone Away-by them is one of my faves!

Yes it was, it's also my fav. of thier's. "Mexico" is my fav. tune off if it; or is it "Satan is My Motor"? No... Wait, "Sheep go to heaven, Goats go to hell" That's my fav. Well, you get the point.
Ahhhh.... The Meat Puppets. Those guy's are cool! Some of the bands I was listening to when I was listening to them alot were The Dead Kennedys, Black Flag ( Yes, I did catch his spoken word in 2002), The Dead Milk Men, Agent Orange... Man, those were the days!
Oh yeah, Offspring. Didn't they have that "Give it to me, baby. Uh Huh" song out last year? Cool bit -o- trivia. The lead singer of Offspring is a real doctor, has patients and everything. The bass player was a janitor at an elementary school. I wonder witch one was really glad they made it big? lol

There last album was in 2003, i think. Pretty Fly 4 a white guy was early 99 or so...not sure that either. Got the cd in the jeep somewhere. Doctor huh? Jeez, who am I to wonder where there asses are then?!?!?LOL, No really I didnt know all that about them. Kewl trivia. I know they were doing a tribute for Tsunami victims. Who hasn't? Yeah, the DEad Kennedys, , Greenday is in Atlantic City, I was to late, theyre sold out. Which is ok, its the same day or night of the White Plains Show, in NY so Cant go anyway. I never really was a fan, but I dont care for Motley's new song. Maybe the rest of the CD will be better. Ill have to launch on that. C-ya
