I made a deal with a friend of mine that I will buy his pair of WC adult Kayuadi dwarfs (100-130 cm) IF I get the female to eat. I will take them home to me and try to get the female to eat.
The male eat great!, but the female hasnīt eaten since Nowember, he have tried, dead and live mouse and rats.

Do anyone have any ideas of any other kind of food, tricks or something? chicks maybe?
or something.

Please help me!

Really want this pair, but I will dont pay for an non feeding female.
Living in Sweden and dwarf retics arent that common yet, so it would be great to be starting up with dwarfs now.

Best Regards Dennis

Chicks work great in my experience with non feeding retics. But the trouble comes when you eventually need to wean them onto rats normally Id defrost a chick dip in water a minute. Let the snake eat the chick then defrost a appropriate size rat dip in the chick water a little then BLAMO it tags the rat and normally after 6-8 good feedings this way theyll take a f.t rat or p.k Just my experience

ALL things feathered seem to be good for my lot, especially quail. Alot of my WC started feeding on quail and chicks or turkey poults.

ok, thanks for all answers!

Iīll try chicks or something with feathers. Yesterday I thought of rubbing a mouse or a chick to a lizard?. I dont know how the wildlife are on the Kayuadi and Tan jampea islands, but maybe they favor reptiles?. just a thougt.

Thanks again!
