iam not sure it is a 100% morelia spilota variegata.

The lateral striping shows relation to Coastal/McDowelli. Could be an Aussie Variegata. Carpets are carpets, and nice is nice, regardless of genetic makeup. It's not the genes you have, it's what you do with it. It would introduce some interesting patterning if bred to a West Papuan (formerly known as Irian Jaya), or it would make interesting babies no matter what kinda carpet (or something else ;) ) you breed it to. In the end, if you can't verify where that animal (or it's direct parents) were captured from, you can't positively know where the lineage is from, genetically. But only the purist nazi's worry about stuff like that. Ppl gotta realize that if it's been bred generation after generation in captivity, genetics get muddy.
