Contact local farmers or livestock auctions.
I have heard some bad things about feeding pigs...

If you have heard some negative things, lay them on me. I don't want to make a mistake with my snakes.

Thanks

Nothing health wise, though I do believe pigs carry some sort of bug that is pretty deadly. That should not be a problem with frozen though, if it is even a problem at all.
Mainly its what they end up as. I have heard that because they are so fatty, the end results are pretty disgusting and smelly. I have never used one, so this is all just what I have heard. People say the same thing about fowl, and I have never had a problem with them, so you never know...

hey I just saw this thread and realized something I heard. Ian is saying a possible parasite ive been warned against feeding pigs because of the antibiotics most farmers give them that freezing won't neutralize once again only something ive heard.

We have fed retics pigs a couple of times. They love them but boy do they smell when they come out the other end. :smt018

We get goats and rabbits for our retics from a local farmer. If you need a lot of them, a relationship with a local farmer is INVALUABLE.
