I have bought my 1st Retic. I have her in a 40 Gallon Breeder Tank with a Screen Top ! I got a red over head light for heat a large water bowl at the other end of the tank the substrate is green indoor outdoor carpet. I'm concerned she might not be happy. What do U think I could do to make her home a better place for her ? I'm concerned about humidity.

Fish tanks are for fish as a wise man once put it how big is the tic?
A quick fix for the humidity is to put plastic wrap over half of the cage but you and the snake will be better off with a snake cage. I like the Animal Plastics cages and can vouch for their customer service. A 40 tank won't last too long as fast as they grow.

I know the 40 wont last long it's just a temp tank. I bought her from Zoo Creatures the guy there said a 20 was ok for a few months so I figured I'd double it and give myself a few months to find the right cage to house her when she grows up. It is a glass critter cage with a screen top not a standard aquarium. Thanks for the input guys. I'll try to find Animal plastics on the web thank u for the info.
