beaked moss vs sphagnum moss

beaked moss vs sphagnum moss....what's the difference? anything significant? i can't imagine there is, but i don't know for sure....is one better than the other for certain applications?

i have a rainbow boa, i was just going to put some in his tank to help keep the humidity up and whatnot, everything i read says sphagnum moss, but i found beaked moss and it looked similar....will it work ok?

i use beaked moss for my jungle carpet baby and it works pretty well and for my rainbow i use the same thing i have never used the other kind but beaked seems to do the trick either way
