Sue and I went to the Hamburg, PA show today to deliver some cages and racks.... While there, we strolled and had a good time. We then helped a friend run his tables. A boy and his parents inquired about some tokay geckos... well we all know how tokay's are, so I began pulling them out to show them and getting locked onto by the pit bull of the gecko world. And they still seemed interested. So they had me sex a pair out for them. Sue was holding the female, which was being strangly semi calm, while I was cupping up the male. The people that were making the purchase said they would be back in a couple of minutes, they were going to get a tank for them. So Sue held onto the female tokay, petting it, talking to it, you know the normal girl stuff. Well about 30 minutes had gone by and the people had not come back yet, so Sue says to me "Sam, look how calm this one got from me holding it, in just that small amount of time" So I said let me see it.. I took the tokay from her hands and looked at it.... THE POOR THING WAS DEAD!

Now you have to know, Sue is a complete wreck over this and she thinks she killed it... Of course, she didnt. The animal must have been on its way out and thats why it was being calm from jump street. I feel bad that the poor little thing died, especially while my wife was holding it.
An odd thing.... Something could have life in it, and 30 minutes later it doesnt. :090:

The people never did come back for them. I would have hated to have to tell them that one of the tokays they picked out had died.

No we didnt know anything thing about it. We were there a whole 2 seconds. Anyway...this is so totally idiotic. The point of the story-for real- is that the lame-brains I live with will never let me live it done. Sam bought a Black Blood, and on the way home it was on my lap, and he said hed better put in the back, in case my hands touched it, and when we ate at Long John Silvers, Sam said-Dont worry the shrimp are already dead, you can eat with your hands. When we got home Justin said Im that little blind boy from Dumb and Dumber petting the dead bird- All..pretty,pretty Tokay! NiceTokay!- If youve seen the movie!. They are so mean to me.LOL! Even my dogs and cats are shying away from me this morning. Needless to sat Sam is on the couch for a few nights for telling this story.
idiots!!!!!!
