I know Prehistoric Pets has been successful w/ them so far--w/ their adult female being the first albino supertiger to lay eggs... 8) ...I sort of assumed that you guys over at NERD MUST have your hands in on the recent albino-tiger project mania...You certainly have the necessary resources; maybe not the time... :biggrin2: ...If you do, are their pics up of your albino tigers anywhere?...Thanks... :P ...
I just posted one of a big female in the photo forum yesterday. Look around.

...Do you guys have any abino supertigers, or do you at least have a pair of breedable albino-tigers or a pair of het-tigers?...Haha...I know that some your projects over there are private, but it would be cool to know... :glasses1: ...
That's all Andy's ball..er...reticgame.

Actually 2004 was the first year the albino supertigers were produced. I believe Brian Sharp produced the first albino super but I may be mistaken. PP has a large albino tiger that just dropped some eggs for them. This year should bring around quite a few more albino supers.

I know Prehistoric Pets has been successful w/ them so far--w/ their adult female being the first albino supertiger to lay eggs... Cool ... ...I had meant that P.P.'s was the first to lay eggs and I mistakenly thought that she was an albino super-tiger rather than an albino-tiger...But looking at the pic, I see I was wrong ...Oops...
...I guess I'm still interested to see who's got the nicest clutches of albino-tiger retics and other morphs this year, and Who takes the nicest SHOTS...I'll place a pet on the nicest retic photos of '05 coming from the already reputable Gooch from Bob and maybe some interesting things from Jay Owens (but it's mostly phattie burms from Jay)... :glasses1: ...I hope you guys here at NERD will get some great shots to do justice to your incredible retics this season. You guys have the most amazing colection of morph boids!... :118: :032: ...God, I luv herp photography... :headbang: ...
it was brian sharp and he set a $25k price tag on albino supers. does any oone else think that is low???
I dont think 25k is low at all for an albino super. Considering tiger het albinos have been available for about three years now and there prices ranging from 1500 to 2500 a piece. Hey, Kev, werent you the one selling them for 1500???? Anyways, the albino supers Brian Sharp produced are a different strain(his own strain from a wc female, his animals dont have a "lavendar" or "purple phase) Al Baldogo was the first to produce amel supertigers(which is from a wc albino that Pete Kahl brought in that he named an amelinistic albino) Prehistoric Pets was the first to produce the albino supertigers with the clark strain of albino(which is the one with lavendar, purple, and white phases)
As for NERD we produced albino tigers last year. It seems alot of peoples tigers have the striped trait that show up often. Kevs on the other hand seem to have a more black classic look. When this is breed into the albino it makes for more white, purple or lavendar and a more contrasting animal. Personally I like the classic albino tigers more then the stripes. This year we will have a butt load of albino tigers(we had 5 gravid albinos to tiger het albinos) (Kevin, just recently decided that he liked the albino tigers more then albinos. There was a few years there that he didnt think anything could top a normal albino retic.)
Blah Blah Blah Yada Yada Yada, we just had a tiger het albino ovulate to a tiger het albino a few days ago. And another female tiger het albino develop some nice follicles that we will be breeding tiger het albinos to. We SHOULD have albino supers this year. And in the future we will be mixing the albino and the tiger gene and hopefully both with the golden childs and making some sick looking snakes.
The future is bright for the albino tigers and supers and you can rest assured that we will be at the front of the line to bring these animals to the general public.............  :biggrin2: :biggrin2:

Thanks for the info Andy. I have to agree that the classic tigers look way better than the striped tigers. If you want a stripe, get a super. :D
I'd really love to see a picture or two of a nice classic tiger albino.
