Better than a dog!

Who needs a dog when you could have one of these guys? They come up and greet you when you enter the room, and they don't need to be taken outside to do their business; you can litter-train them! (Yes, this is fairly easy to do.) Plus, they defend you with all of those sharp spines and love going for walks.

Meet Budo the bearded dragon. I rescued him seven months ago and I feel comfortable saying that he has finally recovered. :D He was in terrible shape; MBD, LOADED with coccidia, plus pinworms and some other complications.

But, anywho, he's doing great and is the light of my life!
