Boa Breeding arrangement question

I would like some advice / ideas about a breeding arrangement. I am concidering letting someone Use my Male Rainbow Boa to breed to his Female. My questions are What is the "standard" if there is one on a breeding arrangement? Should I get pick of litter? Should i get one? More than one? is there a STANDARD arrangement or does it vary?
Secondly, I like to think people are generally honest people... But i dont know this person, just spoke a few times on the phone... How do you trust someone with your snake? and HOW long do you trust him with your snake? Any and all help is appreciated.

The agreement can be whatever you two work out, it's up to you.

"Standard" agreement between two equally paired snakes (as in normals, or matched morphs) is this: Whomever has the female and is monitoring the breeding then that person gets first pick of the litter. Then you split the litter 50/50 from there. One left over in an odd number litter goes to the one who did all the work. There are times when females go out on loan, but not often. In this case then the keeper of the male gets first pic since that person did all the monitoring and caring for the animals. Loan animals are usually kept until the female is visually gravid or they don't mate at all within a set time period. You have every right to determine that time. Cover all your bases!

If you want the deal set in stone then write up a contract and have it signed by both of you as well as have it notorized to make it extremely legally binding. If he reneges on the deal and tries to keep your half of the money or litter then you can easily take him to court over it. Much more hassle than it's worth so a contract helps to keep them honorable. ;)

Well, I was wondering about that because when he contacted me about breeding, he told me that I would get pick of the litter, meaning to me, if he has a litter of 20 babies, i would get 1.... didnt sound quite fair to me.. I wouldnt even ask for half, all i would ask is for a male and female....
