A hypomelanistic mutation, the Ghost is a significantly faded snake with reduced dark pigmentation.  Black coloration is replaced a soft lavender gray, and the primary pattern is often a shade of yellow, orange or green.  Ghosts were the first morph produced here at NERD in the mid-90's, back when noone looked twice at fancy colored ball pythons. Nowdays we can't make enough of them to meet the demand!  The Ghost trait is one that responds well to selective breeding, producing brighter, more colorful offspring with each future generation.  We've crossed our Orange Ghost lines into several designer projects, with the Honey Bee Spiders being a house favorite.  It's easy to see why this beautiful mutation is coveted by breeders & hobbyists alike.
